History and Status
The Conference Molecular Biology of Plants took place in 1988 for the first time and was organized every year since then. In the meantime it has evolved to an important event in the scientific calendar and now is considered to be a conference of high reputation by molecular biologists and plant physiologists.
The organising committee always consists of three scientists: The preceding president, the conference president (responsible organizer) and the aspiring president.
The printed Abstracts Booklets are archieved in the executive office of the Deutsche Botanische Gesellschaft in Berlin, Germany.
