When do I know whether I can participate and whether my presentation was accepted?
After your application, you will see a screen notice about the data you have provided. Please check them directly at the screen. After the deadline, we are going to read all applications and will setup the agenda of the conference. We plan to inform you about acceptance to the meeting in early to mid of December.
How much does it cost to participate?
The conference fee includes accommodation and full boarding at Sportschule Hennef.
The fees are:
- PI (single room/non-member): 560 Euros
- PI (single room/DBG & Section member): 530 Euros
- PI (double room/non-member): 510 Euros
- PI (double room/DBG & Section member): 480 Euros
- PostDocs (double room/non-member): 400 Euros
- PostDocs (double room/DBG & Section member): 370 Euros
- Students (PhD candidates, graduate students (double room)): 370 Euros
If you do not need accommodation at Sportschule Hennef, the fees are:
- PI: 360 Euros
- PostDocs, PhD candidates, graduate students: 240 Euros
Participation for only one or two days of the conference (without accommodation) may be possible pending on space available. Please write an e-mail to the organisers (MBP2025[at]rub.de). The decision will be made after completion of the registration period in mid-December. Fees are 110 Euros/day.
You will receive the information about the bank transfer of fees together with your confirmation of acceptance.
How do I get to the venue Sporthotel Hennef?
By public transport: via Hennef Station. Take bus line 516 or 525, exit bus at bus stop “Sportschule”
By car: Satnav address: Sövener Straße 60, 53773 Hennef. Parking garage next to the hotel costs 5 Euros per 24 hours.
Which size do you prefer for posters?
We prefer A0-posters, in vertical alignment.
What is the language of the meeting?
English.
